What we collect
When you use the calculator or eligibility check, your answers stay in your browser (session storage) until you choose to share them. When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the answers you provided, plus the time your consent was recorded and technical metadata (page, campaign parameters).
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry: your details are sent by email to The Lending Lab (Nick Clunes) so he can contact you about your enquiry, and stored in a secured lead store as a delivery back-up. With your consent we also send rate-alert emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Who we share it with
The Lending Lab, for the purpose of responding to your enquiry — that sharing is the service you asked for, and the consent checkbox on every form names them. We use service providers to deliver email and host the lead store; your information is not sold and not shared with lenders by us.
Storage and retention
Leads are stored in a secured database (Supabase) and in The Lending Lab’s mailbox. The lead store is purged on a schedule (default 90 days). Emails in transit are protected by TLS.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may complain about how we’ve handled it. Contact us via the broker email below; if you’re not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Marketing and calls
We only send marketing email with your express consent, and every email carries a functional unsubscribe (Spam Act 2003). Outbound calling respects the Do Not Call Register.
